I especially enjoy the combination of playful illustration and clean layout – a thoughtful and minimalistic look that are on point and moving.
I created a concept of an onboarding sequence for Shleep B.V. – a sleep-oriented start-up based in Amsterdam. Shleep aims to provide scientific help through a friendly and calm landscape in their app, to guide the users in every phase of their sleep.
I create my illustration with design and layout in mind. My illustrations were created to be adaptive, modular, and suitable for any occasions Shleep as a business might ever need.
For any online business like Shleep, illustration and design play a critical role in visual branding. A thoughtful combination of the two creates a positive synergy for the online presence.
DongXii was a Berlin-based start-up that aims to help European brands to tap into the Chinese market. we have to create a unique standpoint in order to survive as a foreign company in a fierce market like China. I created the visual identity for DongXii – using a mellow and earth-like tone to differentiate us from the competitors. UI-wise, it is also heavily focused on providing a sense of calmness, occasional vibrant UI elements to help orientate users in the content-rich mobile app.
